Hi, Class of 1986! First off, thanks again for your great response to our 20th reunion six months ago (wow--it's frightening how time flies!). As a reminder, we're keeping the website running, so we all can keep in touch, update each other on changes (contact info, etc.), and continue to search for (and find, and connect to the website!) missing classmates. So check in every now and then! With luck, we'll have an even better time and bigger turnout at the 25th!! Secondly, we'd like to invite those of you who plan on being in Ridgewood for the 4th of July celebrations to another great Class of '86 event. As always, Ridgewood's 4th of July is a great time, between the parade (10 to noonish), and the fireworks (dusk-ish), and everything in between. Please also plan on hanging out at the corner of Ridgewood and Maple Avenues, where RHS's Class of 1986 will proudly gather in front of C.C. Van Emburgh! C.C. Van Emburgh is a family-owned business, and Dave Sigler has generously offered to support our gathering by providing use of their facilities. During the parade, we'll be there with treats for the kids (balloons, snacks, beverages, etc.) and drinks for all. We'll gather again in the parking area behind Van Emburgh around 6:00 PM (a bit before the fireworks) for a BBQ. There's a great, unobstructed view of the Fireworks show we'll have more treats for the kids (glow sticks and such). This will be an informal gathering, so there are no tickets or anything like that. However, please reply to this email to let us know if you plan on attending, and how many (adults and kids) you're bringing, so we can plan accordingly. In addition, to help offset the cost of the treats, food, and drink, donations will be accepted at the gathering. Please tell your friends, let us know, and check out the reunion pictures on the site! If you haven't yet registered on the site, please do so. We hope you can attend. Have a safe and fantastic summer, regardless! Warmly, The RHS Class of '86
